Ògèrè Town Hall
Ògèrè Town Hall is a central civic and community facility used for administration, meetings, mobilisation, receptions and community occasions. It houses the Ògèrè Community Development Association (OCDA) Secretariat and provides a shared setting for consultations, programme coordination and organised events.
The facility serves multiple community purposes. Its condition, functionality and accessibility therefore have a direct bearing on the quality of civic engagement and programme delivery in Ògèrè.
Interior and Exterior Redevelopment
Ògèrè Town Hall is undergoing a wider renewal programme covering both the interior and exterior of the facility. It is coordinated and promoted by OCDA in partnership with the Ológèrè-in-Council, sons and daughters of Ògèrè and the wider community.
Support is being mobilised through donations and contributions in cash and kind. Recent Lipakala Day fundraising has supported the renewal, with attention to internal renovation, external rehabilitation, furnishing and site improvements.
The work remains ongoing. The interior and exterior components are being tracked as separate records on the Projects & Infrastructure page so that progress and supporting material can be updated accurately as the work advances.
Continuing Improvement
External rehabilitation, interior furnishing and site improvements remain outstanding areas of the renewal programme. Any fundraising or project delivery for this work is recorded through an approved project or campaign, ensuring that contributions are properly acknowledged and accounted for.
