Acknowledgements and Project Credits

The Ògèrè Rẹ́mọ Community Website is a collective community initiative created to preserve heritage, strengthen communication, improve access to trusted information and provide a lasting digital platform for community engagement and development.

The project reflects the support and contributions of traditional and community institutions, the Ògèrè Web Project Committee, community organisations, professionals, diaspora representatives and sons and daughters of Ògèrè who shared information, documents, photographs, feedback and encouragement.

The Ologere of Ogere

Special appreciation is extended to the Ologere of Ogere for his leadership, encouragement and support for initiatives that promote the heritage, unity and development of Ògèrè Rẹ́mọ.

The project also acknowledges the guidance and participation of the Ológèrè-in-Council and the Ògèrè Community Development Association (OCDA). It further acknowledges the support of other community organisations, including the Ogere Diaspora Development Association (ODDA) and the Ògèrè Youth Development Association (OYDA), as well as other community stakeholders who contributed in various ways.

Ògèrè Web Project Committee

The Committee supported facilitation, consultation, mobilisation, content development, review and delivery of the website. Members contributed in different capacities, including stakeholder engagement, information gathering, review of the Website Project Blueprint and review of the website ahead of formal launch.

Community Content & Contributions

The website benefited from historical, institutional and contemporary information provided from across the community. Appreciation is extended to representatives of the traditional institution, community organisations, the 2026 Lipakala Day Planning Committee, schools, religious institutions, businesses, families, professionals and individual contributors.

Technical Delivery

Website strategy, information architecture, content preparation, implementation, review and technical delivery were coordinated as part of the wider Ògèrè Web Project. The platform is designed as a living community resource that can continue to improve as institutions and contributors provide new information and verified updates.

A Living Community Resource

The website is not intended to be static. It provides a shared foundation for preserving history, celebrating people, documenting development, connecting the diaspora, supporting responsible investment and improving access to community information.
