Youth Engagement
Young people are central to the present and future development of Ògèrè Rẹ́mọ. The town’s educational institutions, industrial presence and community structures create opportunities for participation in education, employment, entrepreneurship, sport, technology, leadership, culture and community service.
Youth engagement is supported through community organisations, schools, religious institutions, sporting activities, skills-development programmes, entrepreneurship initiatives and other community-led interventions.
Ògèrè Youth Development Association (OYDA)
The Ògèrè Youth Development Association (OYDA) is the principal community youth organisation bringing together young people in Ògèrè Rẹ́mọ. Operating under the motto “Raising a Generation of Excellence”, OYDA promotes youth empowerment, community participation, personal development, mentorship and recognition of achievement.
Its activities encompass skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, mentorship, leadership development, community service, educational encouragement, participation in wider Remo youth activities and the promotion of pride in Ògèrè Rẹ́mọ. The Association also maintains an active public community presence and has undertaken practical empowerment programmes intended to improve livelihood opportunities.

Current and Proposed Activity
This page highlights youth enterprise, mentoring and career initiatives. They are not presented here as established programmes until an owner, scope, dates and delivery arrangements are confirmed. When approved, they should appear as dated programmes or projects with clear registration and reporting information.
Lipakala Day programmes have included youth empowerment, education, sports, pageantry and cultural activity, providing an established annual context for youth participation.
Partnership Opportunities
Schools, businesses, diaspora professionals, community organisations and development partners can support youth outcomes through mentoring, work exposure, apprenticeships, digital skills, enterprise support, scholarships and sports infrastructure where initiatives are formally defined.
