About This Pamphlet

This is the official programme pamphlet for the 50th Lipakala Day Anniversary Celebration, the Golden Jubilee of Ogere Remo's annual Founder's Day. It was produced by the Ogere Community Development Association (OCDA) under the royal blessing of His Royal Highness Oba James Obafemi Saliu, Kankanbina III, Arole Olipakala, Ologere of Ogere.

The event took place at Wesley School Playground, Ogere Remo, on Saturday, 17 October 2026, starting at 10:00 AM prompt, alongside the launching of a ₦2.5 billion fund towards the sustainable infrastructural development of Ogere.

The pamphlet serves as the event programme, a record of the Golden Jubilee appeal, a celebration of Ogere's sons and daughters through merit awards, and a thank you to the donors, sponsors, clubs and associations that made the day possible. It also marks the official launch of ogreremo.com, the community's digital home.

Why This Matters

The 2026 pamphlet captures a community at the peak of its Golden Jubilee. It records the largest fund ever launched by the OCDA, the full history of the Association from eight founding fathers in 1964 to thousands of members today, the completion of the Township Hall renovation, the dedication of the Center for the Elderly, and the launch of the community's own website.

It honours the founders, Olipakala and Yemogun, and it calls every son and daughter of Ogere, at home and abroad, to play their part in the next fifty years.

As the Ologere put it: "I pray that the next 50 years will be greater. With God, with unity, and with the strength of all Agboles, Ogere will continue to rise."

Ogere a gbujo ooo!
