Lipakala Day is Ogere Remo’s annual heritage and community development celebration. The 2026 edition marks fifty years since the celebration was established in 1976 and brings together sons and daughters of Ogere at home and abroad, residents, traditional institutions, community organisations, businesses and friends of the town.
The Golden Jubilee is organised as a ten-day programme from 8 to 18 October 2026, spanning environmental action, faith, youth empowerment, artisan development, education, health, sport, pageantry, music and traditional cultural displays. The programme culminates in the Grand Finale on Saturday, 17 October and the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 18 October.
