On Tuesday, 12 August 2026, His Royal Highness, Oba James Obafemi Saliu, Kankanbina III, Arole Olipakala, officially opened the Prince Olumuyiwa Adewunmi Babington Ashaye Center for the Elderly in Ògèrè Rẹ́mọ.
The centre was built by the Ashaye Family, facilitated by the Ògèrè Community Development Association (OCDA), and dedicated by the Anglican Communion.
The facility was established to provide care, comfort and dignity for older people in the community. It represents a legacy contribution by the Ashaye Family to the wellbeing of Ògèrè’s elders.
