Documentary Integrity
Original files should be preserved unchanged. Web copies may be cropped, exposure-balanced, sharpened or cleaned for clarity, but important faces, regalia, historical objects and settings must not be altered in ways that create false documentary detail.
Publication rights, attribution, source, date and any restoration treatment should be retained with important assets. Materials submitted to the archive are not automatically public if they contain personal, sensitive or restricted information.
Contribute to the Archive
Families, schools, organisations, religious institutions and individuals can help preserve Ògèrè’s memory by contributing photographs, programmes, histories and records through the website Contact route. Contributors should identify the source, approximate date, people shown and any publication restrictions where known.
